Elephant Library

Save the Elephants has an ever-expanding library of over 8,000 titles of scientific papers, articles, and theses on the African elephant

The African Elephant Library (AEL) is collaboration between STE and the IUCN/SSC African Elephant Specialist Group (AfESG). This annotated list of references on the biology, ecology and management of the African elephant was developed to facilitate the work of researchers, field staff and resource managers, conservationists, academics, and the general public.

From June 2014, this library was transferred to the Zotero platform.

Anyone is free to browse the library, but group membership is restricted to AfESG Members and STE staff.
