E-biosphere09 conference in London 1st to 3rd June 2009

The e-Biosphere 09 International Conference on Biodiversity Informatics brought together an exceptional array of speakers and participants to highlight the achievements in Biodiversity Informatics today and to discuss strategies for its future. This conference presentented a unique opportunity for a wide range of professionals, researchers, and students to come together to help plan the future of the field.

Festus Ihwagi and Prof Vritz Vollrath represented Save the Elephants. Festus displayed a project poster, Tracking Animals for Conservation’ highlighting STE’s multiple species collaborative tracking program and the results of Monitoring Illegal Killing of Elephants (MIKE) 2002 to 2008.
