Elephant Bibliography
STE has an ever expanding library of over 4,500 titles of scientific papers, articles, and theses on the African elephant which has been compiled by Mary Rigby. The library is used by researchers, This annotated list of references on the biology, ecology and management of the African elephant was developed to facilitate the work of researchers, field staff and resource managers, conservationists, academics, and the general public. A set of this library is also kept at the African Elephant Specialist Group's offices in Nairobi.
A bibliography of these articles is available on the Internet here as well as in hard copy at our offices in Nairobi. (Please check at your nearest academic or large public library for hard copies of these references before contacting STE offices.)
