Tusker rescued from well (India)

Am eight-year-old tusker that fell into a farm well was rescued today by the forest Department officials and villagers of Kunthukottai, 83 km from here, today, Forest Department sources said. 

The villagers heard the screaming the elephant from a farm in the midnight yesterday. When rushed to the spot, they found the elephant in the well and informed Forest Department officials. 

The forest officials made pathway to the elephant to climb from the well with the support of villagers. After a couple of hours the elephant reached the plain from the well. 

The rescued elephant immediately ran away from the scene into forest area.
