MYSORE: A 30-year-old tusker was found dead at Nagarahole tiger reserve on Wednesday.

Though the elephant died three days ago, it came to light on Wednesday. A forest official said there were injuries around its neck and hip region. According to forest officials, the tusker might have died of injuries sustained in fighting. The carcass was later cremated.
