A family was trampled to death by a wild elephant in Kokkadicholey-Thandamaley area in Batticaloa, last night.The Batticaloa police have identified the deceased family (couple) who was a resident of Kokkadicholey-Thandamaley. According to the police, the tragedy occurred while the victims were at sleep.
The autopsy of the deceased will conduct, today.
