US ambassador Earl Miller and Chinese ambassador Zheng Zhuqiang would visit Kasane village in north western Botswana on February 1-3.

Kasane village is one of the country’s tourist destinations.

Keoreng said during their visit, both ambassadors would meet with local government officials, representatives of Chobe Enclave communities (the district under which Kasane falls) and civil society organizations to learn their perspectives and discuss the conservation of Botswana’s natural resources.

He said both ambassadors are committed to working with the government of Botswana as part of their nations’ global efforts to combat wildlife trafficking.
