Angola: Poachers to Receive 300,000 and Akz 600.000 Fines

Luanda — Fines for poaching game animals whose hunting is banned, may range between 300,000 and 600,000 Kwanzas, warned the Ministry of Environment.
 
This is contained in its statement released Thursday, adding that in addition to fines the offenders will be held criminally liable under the law in force in Angola.
 
Hunting of elephants, rhinos, all cat families, the sable antelope, giraffes, whales, among other, is banned under the legislation of slaughter of protected species.
