Each year thousands of elephants are killed for their tusks. The human-wildlife conflict is worsened by the growing number of people encroaching on elephants’ habitats. In Kenya, wildlife authorities have been trying to counter the stand-off. As well as directing awareness campaigns at people, they’re trying to show elephants the kindness of humans.
