The wildlife wing of the Odisha Crime Branch took two of nine accused, held recently for illegal poaching of elephants, to a five-day remand.
The Special Operation Group (SOG) personnel had seized two pieces of tusks and guns from the arrested nine persons. They had been arrested on May 31 and later produced in a Boudh court and sent to jail custody with charges of poaching elephants.
The two who taken on remand have been brought to CB’s head office at Cuttack.
