DC Meets Victims of Tusker Menace (India)

Garhwa DC Dr Neha Arora along with Ranka SDO J A Idrishi visited the extremists infested villages of Bargarh block where wild elephants damaged 30 houses and destroyed the food grains of the villagers.

DC distributed 10 quintal rice and 200 blankets among the victim families there.

After visit DC directed to the BDO and CO submit a damaged report within two days. DC also directed to the forest department to send a damaged report to the Government within two days after assessment damage.

DC directed to the PHED junior engineer to immediate install hand pump in village where wild elephants destroyed the handpump. Wild elephants had damaged 30 houses and destroyed food grains which were put in houses.

DC thanking to the  Parswar mukhiya who managed the food to the victims  and stayed them in her house.

Bhandariya BDO, CO, Forest Ranger and others were also present in visit.
