The head of the Kiluba chiefdom in the territory of Manono (Tanganyika) recommends that the Congolese authorities compensate victims of the migration of elephants in this part. He justifies this demand that these elephants are causing considerable damage in the fields of farmers. These damaged fields can cause a famine in the region.
