ANGUL: A 40-year-old tusker was found dead at a paddy field near Santharabandh village under Chhendipada forest range here on Thursday. On being informed, the forest officials rushed to the spot along with a medical team which stated that the elephant died due to respiratory problem.
However, the wildlife lovers suspect it to be a case of electrocution. DFO of Angul Godabarish Panda ruled out poaching.
