STRAY elephants on Wednesday invaded Paranai village in Simba sub-location, Kenyewa location in Kajiado county and destroyed crops.

The seven jumbos struck at 11pm and destroyed acres of bananas and watermelons, Francis Parelo, a farmer said.

He said the elephants destroyed his five acres of watermelon and three acres of grafted banana trees.
