Some 13 youths from Makueni county have been selected to join KWS training.
They took part in the recruitment held at Makueni Boys High school grounds on Tuesday.
The recruits were drawn from Mbooni East, Mbooni West, Nzaui, Makueni, Kathonzweni, Kilingu, Mukaa, Makindu and Kibwezi.
Recruiting officer Dickson Lesimirdna said the recruits are expected to report to the KWs Training college in Manyani on May 1.
They should carry their admission letters.
KWS officer in charge of Chyulu Hills and Tsavo West national parks Joseph Mbote said a 9km electric fence will be erected at Tsavo West.
It will keep elephants from straying into farms.
