Mapato North ward representative Lesalaon ole Seki and David ole Nkirrimpai of Kaputiei North have threatened to mobilise members to call for killing of stray wild animals in Kajiado.

The two rubbished a call by Kajiado Deputy Governor Paul Ntiati for leaders to seek dialogue with KWS director over destruction caused to farms by elephants from the Amboseli National Park.

They were speaking during the event to mark World Environment Day at Maparasha Primary School on Thursday. Seki said officials from the KWS have refused to listen to them and dialogue will delay justice.

He said more than 300 elephants are causing havoc in Emotoroki and Maparasha areas of the county. Nkirrimpai, the majority leader, accused the KWS of failing to act when called.
