Koilamati Havar Cheraikom Amei (KHCA) has opposed the Wild Life Trust of India’s initiative to set up an elephant corridor covering Tokolangso, Borjan, Nilip and Koilamati in Assam’s Karbi Anglong district.

KHCA has organised a rally on Sunday last to register its protest against the move of the WTI.  KHCA president Amor Ronghang has said the organization represents seven villages, where more than 300 families have been living since 1976.
