Man killed in elephant attack (India)

A 28-year-old man was killed after a wild elephant attacked him at Dinnur village under Kamasamudra police limits in the taluk on Saturday.

The deceased has been identified as Sitaramappa (28), a resident of Dinnur.
The incident occurred when the victim had gone to witness the elephant which was camping on the outskirts of the village. Sitaramappa suffered serious injuries after he was hit by the elephant’s trunk. He was rushed to Devraj Urs Medical Collehe hospital in Kolar where he succumbed to injuries after a while.
