Mt Kenya and Laikipia Regions Anti-Poaching Walk to Start in July (Kenya)

After the Killings of the Iconic Mt.Kenya bull elephant in Mt Kenya Forest, rhinos and a game warden at Ol-jogi conservancy, a walk to sensitize the community in Laikipia and Mt.Kenya region on negative impact of poaching will kick off on the 1st of July.

The Walk dubbed ” Ivory belongs to elephants campaign walk ” is being organized by Elephant Neighbors Center (ENC) and will start in Nanyuki town and pass through Nyeri town and finish off at Nyahururu town in Laikipia West.

According to ENC director, Jim Justus Nyamu the walk is divided into three main areas, Nanyuki- Nyeri and Nyahururu.
