In yet another man-animal conflict, a four-year old girl was trampled to death and her mother was severely injured as an elephant attacked them at Timana village under Sundargarh district’s Badagaon forest range late on Tuesday night.
According to information, the jumbo, all of a sudden, came running and destroyed the house and trampled the mother-daughter due when they were fast asleep.
The injured woman has been admitted in the Sundargarh District Headquarters Hospital (DHH), sources said.
