Tusker found dead in Sundargrh jungle (Bhubaneswar, India)

The body of a male elephant was found in the Angarkuda villager under Banki forest range of Banai subdivision in Sundargarh district on Friday morning.

According to information, locals first spotted the elephant body lying in the foliage outside the village. They soon informed the forest officers, who have reached the spit started investigation.

The exact reason behind the tusker’s death was yet to be known and it would be established after poster-mortem is conducted on the body, said forest officials.
