Two forest officials suspended in elephant death case in Dhenkanal (India)

Bhubaneswar: Two forest officials ; a Forester Prafulla Sethi and a Forest Guard Panchanan Mishra have been suspended for laxness in their duties was reported in Dhenkanal district , sources said.

The rotten carcass of an elephant was found at Mahavir Road in Dhenkanal two days back, following which the Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) had ordered an investigation.

The DFO has finally suspended the negligent officials, Sethi and Mishra in connection with the incident after investigation.
