Wild elephants kill worker in Bandarban (Bangladesh)

A rubber worker was killed by a herd of wild elephants in Dolujhiri area under Naikhyangchhari Upazila of Bandarban district on Sunday morning.

The victim was identified as Abdus Sobhan, 40, a resident of the area.

Police said the elephants coming from the nearby forests trampled Sobhan while he was going to a nearby rubber garden.

Police recovered the body and sent it to Cox’s Bazar Sadar Hospital, according to BSS.
