In a tragic incident, a woman was crushed to death by an elephant at Kusatikiri village under Soso police limits in Odisha’s Keonjhar district today morning. The deceased was identified as Sasikala Nayak.
According to reports, Nayak came in front of the animal when she was walking through the village road. The jumbo crushed the woman with trunk following which she died on the spot.
On being informed about the incident, police and Forest Department officials reached the spot.
